"Traverse for Women" endeavors to make every event as accessible as possible for any individual who may be disabled.

We also list women's events that are sponsored by other organizations. We do not always know what services are available these events, but we will post any information that is provided by the sponsoring group that may be used to determine accessibility.

The symbols we use indicate that adaptive services may already exist at an event, or that they may be available by request assistance from the event organizer. Please do not assume that these services will automatically be available to you. Call or e-mail first!

If you have any questions, we would encourage you to contact the organization or individual who is organizing the event you wish to attend (if this information is listed.)

If you have any additional questions, or need help finding resources to make your event accessible to all women, please call "Traverse for Women" at (231) 943-5050 or E-mail ask for M'Lynn.

...a web site dedicated to the human majority

Don't ever let anyone tell you that there weren't notable, accomplished, and effective women throughout history. They have always been there. Historians have consistently failed to document women's accomplishments — therefore each generation of women have had to reinvent themselves.
